At the “Generating Sets Industry Insight 2024”, a European Manifesto was born to assert the central role of Generating Sets in the Energy and Digital Transition.
The world’s leading manufacturers of internal combustion engines and generating sets gathered on October 12th at the Royal Palace of Napoli for an event organized by GENERAZIONE DISTRIBUITA – Motori, Componenti e Gruppi Elettrogeni of ANIMA Confindustria and EUROPGEN. Together, they made an appeal to the European Commission for a regulatory framework that recognizes the critical role of energy security ensured by Generating Sets.
Approximately 180 delegates, representing over 70 companies from across 4 continents, participated in the discussions, and the event concluded with a Grand Gala in the magnificent Sala d’Ercole at the Royal Palace.
During the evening, the prestigious GD Awards were assigned to Herve PRIGENT (Rehlko), Rıdvan Özer (JENDER-Jeneratör Sanayicileri ve Güç Sistemleri Derneği|Association of Power Generator Manufacturers), and Richard Payne (Cummins Inc.).
